The scientific activity of L3i laboratory is focussed onto the fundamental aspects of Computer Science, Engineering and images.
The laboratory is organised in two thematic axes that respond to scientific animation per thematic. Hence, their objectives are to consolidate the laboratories fundamentals:
- Thematic axis Image, Documents and Complex Data (IDDC)
- Thematic axis Interactive Systems and Image (S2I)
Moreover, for the reason of legibility of its activities at local, regional, national, and even international level the laboratory defined two strategic axes whose aim is to make visible its activities in collaboration with its local, regional and national partners:
- Strategic axis Pertinence Contents-Interaction (ASPIC)
- Strategic axis Environment
